On November 15, 2022, the Suzhou Center of GPIPC organized a meeting to form the initial membership of the Suzhou Dual-carbon Service Association(proposed name). Li Mingwei, President of Suzhou Chinese Consortium and Chairman of Zhongxin Energy, Wang Chen, chairman of Suzhou Energy Group, and representatives of the first 30 member enterprises attended the meeting.

President Li Mingwei delivered a welcome speech and expressed congratulations on the first meeting of the Suzhou Dual-carbon Service Association. Representative of the association preparatory group, Liu Xinyi made a report on the preparatory work. He focused on the establishment background, organizational mode, and organizational functions of the association. More than 30 letters of intent to join the Association have been submitted to the preparatory group. In the future, the association will form a strong force to promote the achievement of dual-carbon targets of Suzhou and even of the whole nation.
