With the guidance and support of the Ministry of Commerce of MOFCOM, the Green Partnership of Industrial Parks in China (hereinafter referred to as the GPIP) was jointly launched on August 20th , 2016 by 36 leading national-level economic zones, including Suzhou Industrial Park, Guangzhou Development District, Beijing Development Area and Tianjin Development Area and other top national economic zones which have made outstanding achievements in green development and upgrading.

In the past 5 years, the GPIP has been promoting both economic growth and ecological benefits to realize green transformation, international cooperation, and high quality development for National Economic & Technological Development Zones and International Cooperation Industrial Parks.
